Fit in = Bland You don’t know where the line is until you’ve crossed it. Your past doesn’t determine your future. Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least. Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. Experience is the worst form of training – they give you the test before the instructions. It’s all good in the end. If it’s not good, it’s not the end. This is a time of incredible change. What is it for you? The media and politicians want you to buy into the fear. Buy into the excitement instead! Relationships are the marketing tool of the 21st century. If you don’t quit you’ll make it. Sometimes the right thing to do is surrender & “let go & let God” The challenge is to know the difference. If you can start the day without caffeine, If you can get going without pep pills, If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains, If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles, If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it, If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time, If you can take criticism and blame without resentment, If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend, If you can conquer tension without medical help, If you can relax without liquor, If you can sleep without the aid of drugs, …Then You Are Probably The Family Dog! 🙂 Old paradigm New paradigm 5 Ways to Misery In 1974, during the UK miners’ strike, a 3 day work week was implemented. The essence of Passover (Jewish festival currently being celebrated) is freedom from slavery. The essence of Easter (Christian festival currently being celebrated) is renewal and rebirth. Being born again or renewed is pointless if the new you is still enslaved to the old mindset. There’s more to be seen than can ever be seen In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone You can’t help someone get up a hill without getting closer to the top yourself. The secret to receiving is not giving – it’s asking! Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. Do one thing a day that scares you. When in doubt, just take the next small step. Everyone is responsible for everyone and everything. According to Jack Fraenkel, the most powerful sentence in the English language consists of 10, 2 letter words: There are no deadlines – only lifelines. Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance. When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills. It is important people believe in their leader, but it is more important that the leader believes in his people. In the end, an organisation is nothing more than the collective capacity of its people to create value. You have to be present to get the presents. Are you passionate about what you’re doing? Negative emotions – such as jealousy or envy – do more harm to the originator than the subject. One person saying to me “You’ve made my day” makes my day. Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins: cash and experience. Be more accepting and there will be more to accept. Your present situation doesn’t determine where you can go, A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. Chance favours the prepared mind. The easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am. To find the solution you have to forget the problem. To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, and most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can perform. Live your life from your purpose & passion. Everything you need to know about finances; Learn to listen. “Surrealism” is to have 20,000 friends in Facebook & Twitter, When you harbour bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere. Income seldom exceeds personal development. Vision without execution is hallucination! If ever there is a lack of any kind, whether it is need for employment, or for money, or for guidance, or even for healing, something is blocking the flow. And the most effective remedy? Give!
