Having returned from our holiday, things have returned to normal.
We actually had 5 days working (well 5 and a half because Sunday is a semi-work day), daylight saving has been switched off for another six months and the world feels like it’s settling down to a workable routine.
We’re living in an area we’re very familiar with, in a house we’ve been in before (love repeat business) and this house doesn’t have any resident animals which we have to be responsible for.
Of course, this idyllic situation can’t last.
This week is Passover and Easter. Next week is Anzac Day and it’s school holidays.
So, once again we’re plunged into short work weeks, public holidays and people being unavailable because they’re being employed as Mum’s/Dad’s taxi service.
On the plus side, we’ve got somewhere to live lined up until late June and there’s no daylight saving. (Have I mentioned I really dislike daylight saving?)
So, this post is being kept short and sweet. Life’s pleasant at the moment and we’d like it to stay that way – at least for a few days.
Enjoy your holiday, whatever form it takes and we look forward to catching up again soon.
